I had a mixed but ultimately negative experience with this moving company. The movers themselves were excellent: professional, helpful, and efficient. They did a great job, which is the only reason for the two-star rating. Unfortunately, the office and customer service of Daly Verhuizingen were very poor and misleading. Communication was inconsistent, with different staff giving contradictory information. For example, I was first told they did not have sidewalk parking permits, then later told by another employee that they did. When I tried to cancel the booking five weeks in advance because of this, I was told I would have to pay 50% of the quote, despite their own website stating cancellations are free up to two weeks prior. I ultimately proceeded after being assured they had the required permits and received a written quote for two movers, along with written confirmation that I would assist with the move by having two friends help. On the day of the move, I arrived with my two friends, but the company sent three movers without my knowledge or consent. They later claimed they had tried to call me the day before to suggest adding a third mover, but I did not see or answer that call and never agreed to any change. Despite this, they decided to send a third mover anyway. After the move, which took only 1.5 hours, I was asked to pay €300 extra for the additional mover. I stood my ground and paid only for the two movers, exactly as stated in the written quote I received via email. If you want clear and honest communication with transparent pricing, I recommend choosing a different moving company.

Couldn’t be happier with this company! From the get-go, everything was so easy. I was really stuck and it was super last minute, so I honestly didn’t even think it would be possible—but they made it work with such a fast response. When the guys arrived, they were so friendly and polite, made the whole experience easy, and got everything done incredibly fast. I was genuinely so impressed and would highly, highly recommend them!

The moving job was done well. No disagreement or much discussions during the job. All items were brought to the destination safely. One remarks about dismantling & assembly of the inventories. The team came with empty hands without hand tools. Luckily I got some DIY complete tool kit to help them to dismantle and assembly. They should keep a tool set in their routine moving jobs. However, they are reliable and good personnel to perform the moving job safely.

Overall, I am satisfied with the service provided, although there are a few important points worth mentioning. Initially, communication with Daly was smooth: we quickly agreed on the date and price via email, and I was confident that everything was confirmed. However, the day before the scheduled move, I called to confirm the arrival time of the movers only to find out that our move was not listed on their schedule at all. Fortunately, we had some flexibility with our moving dates, and the administrative team managed to reschedule us for the following day. That was a great relief. On the day of the move, the crew (Don, Alex, and Andy) arrived approximately five hours later (due to the job they had to finish in the first half of the day) than planned and appeared noticeably tired. Despite that, they handled the packing of our boxes and furniture with professionalism: working quickly, efficiently, and in an well-organized manner. I have no complaints about their performance. In the end, I agreed to have three movers instead of two in order to complete the job faster. This adjustment though was reflected in the final cost, which increased by approximately 30%. So my advice for the future customers - be super careful with the confirmations you give and receive. That's a crucial thing. Due to a misunderstanding, which occurred partly due to my own oversight, I am not able to give a full 5-star rating. This is an honest review, and as is true in any business, there is always room for improvement. Good luck and success, Daly team.

We had a good experience with the movers from good communication to moving done with great professionals. The movers Sam and his other team member were very hardworking, motivated, and helpful. I would highly recommend.
